Reporting to: Regional Service Manager (supervised when required by the Boiler Team Leader)

Location: Customer sites nationally but mainly within the local area

JBC specialise in mechanical and industrial engineering which encompasses a vast range of services to the public and private sectors.

Responsible for the maintenance of commercial and industrial boilers and the related fixtures and
fittings.

Preparation of steam and hot water boilers for annual insurance inspections
Overhaul of fixtures and fittings
Removal and installation of refractory
Preparation for non destructive testing
Cleaning of boiler tubes
Providing technical support to customers and colleagues
Providing customers with regular reports and feedback on their service requests, including the completion of relevant paperwork
Developing and maintaining relationships with customers
Ensuring compliance with the companies health and safety, quality and environmental procedures
Participation in paid overtime and weekend work
Travel across the UK but mainly within the local area and some overnight stays will be required

Relevant product knowledge
A proven engineering background within the combustion industry/boilerhouse maintenance
Experience in a customer facing role

Capable of working accurately at speed with a wide ranging remit

Willing and keen to undertake relevant training to develop skills in relation to the post
Willing to travel and participate in overtime/weekend work including overnight stays
