Dan JBC

Dan started at JBC as a pipefitter/welder and has worked all over the country as well as the odd trip to Europe.

Dan started at JBC as a pipefitter/welder and has worked all over the country as well as the odd trip to Europe. The jobs he has enjoyed the most were installing the complete heating system plantroom for Liverpool Museum from start to finish and installing chillers for ICS in Belgium who were keen to have Dan’s expertise and skills which had been used previously on the company’s British sites.

Dan has worked on a variety of work across the Mechanical services and in every industry sector from food and drink to chemical plants and everything in-between.

MD, Geoff Sutcliffe said, “Dan is reliable, conscientious and trustworthy, as well as an all-round likeable guy. He is a great asset to the team and it has been a pleasure working with him over the last 9 years.”

Today, Dan manages the Mechanical Services department based at our Head office in Normanton providing the highest levels of service for boiler installation, bespoke hotwell manufacture and pre-fabricated and site based installs of stainless and carbon steel pipework to name just a few.

Our customer SCA UK Ltd sent us the following testimonial for pipework modifications during their shutdown: “The magnitude of the work was substantial to say the least and the efforts shown by Dan and his team didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks for a great job.”

Dan’s future plans are to grow the department and continue to provide the highest levels of service expected by our customers.

Congratulations Dan and here’s to the next 10 years!
