The customer required the replacement of the gas fired burners on powder ovens as the existing burners were obsolete and were proving difficult to repair and source components.
JBC offered a modern and more efficient process burner that was capable of achieving up to a 10:1 turndown on the ovens, along with a new temperature controller which allowed for a more accurate oven temperature control.
JBC installed and commissioned six new and more efficient burners on the pre-treatment and oven processes. This included the removal of existing combustion equipment, preparing the ovens before mounting the burners, connecting them up both mechanically and electrically and testing the system.
