The site required pipeline modifications which involved the updating of all steam valves and the installation of double block and bleed valves in line with SCA’s Company Policy.
The work was scheduled to be done during the statutory shutdown and it was vital to get the work done within this time plan to ensure commencement of production was on time.
All the old valves were replaced, as well as the strainers and pressure reducing valves.
On top of this, boiler annuals were done on the two large steam boilers.
