Last night at Wakefield College Apprenticeship Awards 2019, JBC were awarded the Non-Levy Employer of the Year Award for excellent engagement with the college in providing career opportunities in the field of engineering.
JBC staff were praised for supporting Apprentice development whilst liaising with the college in relation to the progress of our two apprentices who are a credit to the company. JBC have also been supportive in providing work experience opportunities for others courses and constructive feedback for Ofsted.
Special thanks go to Service Manager, Leanne Curry for her support with the college tutors on the apprentices’ progress, the National Boiler Team for training and developing the lads out in the field and last but not least to Matthew Lamb and Jack Marren for professionally representing JBC at both college and work.
Over 600 employers were nominated for Apprenticeship Awards, so this recognition is testament to the hard work done by both Matt and Jack and the staff who support and mentor them in their early careers.
