The Heating, Ventilation and Cooling Association provide membership for companies such as JBC who install, commission and maintain heating equipment. JBC, like all members, undergo regular inspections from the HVCA, the most recent of which took place in October 2010. As part of the inspection the BM Trada assessor acting on behalf of the association visited our Leeds and Hull offices, as well as a customer's site on which our engineers were working. The assessor commented on the exceptional standard of our health & safety and quality.

As a member of the British Safety Council, JBC believes we are showing our customers our commitment to a high standard of health and safety. The council provide us with regular updates on legislation changes and advice on how to further improve our practices.

Gas Safe Register recently replaced CORGI as the gas registration body in Great Britain. As part of our membership we receive regular notifications on gas related issues which ensures we are always up to date on current legislation. All our engineers are registered with Gas Safe and carry their registration cards at all times.

Constructionline is a national online database of suppliers to the construction industry. In order to be included on this database JBC are thoroughly assessed annually in a variety of areas including health & safety, quality, environment, insurance and finance. By carrying the Constructionline logo on all our stationery and vehicles we are providing a guarantee to our customers in advance of their own contractor vetting, that JBC meet their high standards.

SAFEcontractor are a health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme trusted by major brands such as Kellogg, Nestle and Tesco. JBC complete extensive assessments annually which concentrate on all areas of our health and safety.

The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, similarly to SAFEcontractor, assess JBC's health and safety standards including our policy, organisation and arrangements annually. CHAS membership is used by many companies in the public and private sectors as their initial method of vetting their suppliers' health and safety standards.

JBC are proud to be a member of the Combustion Engineering Association. The CEA advise JBC and its other members on how to carry out the best practice possible within our industry. It offers conferences where JBC are able to meet other companies in our sector, and we have previously attended exhibitions held by the association where we had great success.
