JBC Industrial Services Limited is the leading independent specialist, industrial steam boiler and heating service company.  Head Office is based in Leeds with additional offices in Hull, Warrington and Newark.

We currently have positions available in the following roles;

Regional Administrator – part time

Location; JBC Southampton

We require an experienced administrator to provide organisational support to the regional service manager and contribute to the effective running of our newly opened Southampton office, located in Romsey. The role includes organising and planning jobs for the service engineers, invoicing, ordering engineering parts, maintaining hard copy and electronic filing systems, answering the telephone to clients and suppliers, upkeep of the office area and general administrative duties. Applicants should have experience of Microsoft packages and an excellent standard of literacy, numeracy and communication skills. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work alone and unsupervised, willingness to be flexible and develop as required by the role.

Salary Pro-rata £8/hour, hours flexible between 0930 and 1530.

Industrial Boiler Service Engineers

Location; JBC offices nationally

We require skilled service engineers to work on a large range of industrial boiler and combustion equipment. Candidates should possess sound electrical fault finding skills, gas and oil combustion experience.
Training will be provided for a qualified electrician with the aptitude to retrain in this industry. Chosen applicant must be willing to multi skill as required: electro – mechanical minded.
Good communication skills very important, will be liaising with on-site engineers and site managers. Preferred qualifications Industrial Gas ACS (COCN1 etc) and ONC. Involves working overtime and on a callout service.

Salary proportionate to experience. Company vehicle, 25 days holiday plus other benefits.

Pipe Fitter/Welders

Location; JBC offices nationally

We require experienced pipe fitter/welders that can multitask, and embrace challenges related to the installation and maintenance of boiler plant. Candidates should have the ability to read drawings and plan pipework routes, evaluate and resolve problems and work accurately at speed with a wide ranging remit. Qualifications should include welding to current British standards; metal arc, tig and preferably mig, gas qualifications including ACS (COCN1 etc) and ONC are desirable; however there is the option of undertaking relevant training for the right applicant. Good communication skills are important as the successful candidates will be required to liaise with on-site engineers and site managers. The role requires regular travel within the UK but mainly within the local area.

Salary proportionate to experience, company vehicle, 25days holiday plus other benefits.
